Transmission for Forklift - Using gear ratios, a transmission or gearbox provides torque and speed conversions from a rotating power source to another equipment. The term transmission means the entire drive train, as well as the differential, gearbox, prop shafts, clutch and final drive shafts. Transmissions are more commonly used in motor vehicles. The transmission alters the output of the internal combustion engine to be able to drive the wheels.
